We are honored to host Dr. Marcus Winter, CEO Americas, Munich Re, to speak to the John Street Club and guests at our regular Luncheon Meeting on April 9, 2026 at 11:45 a.m.

Dr. Marcus Winter has been with the Munich Re Group for almost 25 years and is currently President & CEO, North America (P&C Re), a position he has held since April 2021. Marcus started his career as an Underwriter for Property Treaty and Structured Reinsurance with a focus on Munich Re’s Asian clients. He then moved to Sydney to run Munich Re’s Non-Life business in Australia, and after his return, he was responsible for a wide range of Munich Re’s global underwriting standards. Before he moved to the US, Marcus oversaw Strategy, Innovation, Data, and Analytics for Munich Re’s global reinsurance business. Marcus received his Executive MBA in Financial Services and Insurance (EMBA FSI) from the University of St. Gallen, Vlerick Business School and HEC Montreal in 2014. Prior to that, Marcus attended Universität Ulm, where he received his diploma in business mathematics in 1996 and went on to pursue his PhD in economics.

May Luncheon Meeting: Mario Vitale, President, Resilience (Thursday, May 14, 2026)

We are honored to host Mario Vitale, President of Resilience, to speak to the John Street Club and guests at our regular Luncheon Meeting on May 14, 2026 at 11:45 a.m.

Mario Vitale is the President of Resilience, a leading cyber risk company rewriting the rules of how cyber risk is assessed, measured, and managed. Before assuming his current role, Vitale held several senior executive roles within the insurance industry across the last 45 years in Philadelphia, Chicago, London, Switzerland, San Francisco, and New York, including CEO of Aspen’s Global Insurance operations, CEO of Global Corporate, Zurich Financial Services, CEO of Willis North America, and Chairman of Willis Global Large Account Practice in 2002, overseeing the broker’s efforts with the Fortune 1000. Mario is a member of the WNS Global Services board of directors, and is a graduate of the St. John’s School of Insurance.

June Luncheon Meeting: Dave Obenauer, CEO, CRC Group (Thursday, June 11, 2026)

We are honored to host Dave Obenauer, CEO of the CRC Group, to speak to the John Street Club and guests at our regular Luncheon Meeting on June 11, 2026 at 11:45 a.m.

Dave serves as Vice Chair of CRC Group and has been with the firm since 2007. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and an MBA from the Wharton Business School. Dave was appointed to the legacy NAPSLO Board of Directors in 2015 and joined the WSIA Board of Directors in 2017.
